An album designed to cultivate a specific frame of mind. Contemplative, eerie, space, trippy, going deep within your consciousness, then reeling toward furthest edges of space. Feeling a sense of awe at the universe. Turning inward toward your own self. A mirror in which to view your mind. Music for thinking, creating, working, sleeping, meditation, stress relief. Perfect to run in the background to create a sustained mood, or listening deeply, reveling in every detail.
In a sense, this is a counterpoint to my "Hypersomnia" album. That album flowed almost unfiltered from my mind in a sleep-deprived state, whereas this album attempts to create a more relaxed state of mind, to strip away the clutter and create a safe place to induce sleep or encourage quiet contemplation.
This approach is inspired somewhat by similar efforts from artists like Steve Roach, Robert Rich, Steven Halpern, and other ambient artists who make music that affects your state of mind.
This album also features more keyboard-based performances, and has more of a "human" element than "Hypersomnia."
Recorded throughout 2015.
Presented in 48kHz/24-bit lossless files (greater than CD quality).
