More beat-oriented and more upbeat, this album features some tracks that are closer to clubbier sound than Apertome’s usual fare (though really, there are slower tracks as well). There are also some sequenced-based tracks in more of an east coast synthesis style. Apertome feels somewhat uncomfortable producing more upbeat material, hence the title “Fourgeries.”

These tracks were created using a small Eurorack modular system, keyboard synths such as Korg MS-20 mini, Prophet 08, and Novation Ultranova, as well as beat programming and sequencing on a Korg Electribe 2. Additional sequencing using Doepfer Dark Time.

Effects used include Eventide Timefactor, Zoom MS-70CDR, and others.
