Apertome’s sixth and final album of material from 2016, this returns to ambient territory more typical of his style. Field recordings, synths, other natural elements combine to create ambient soundscapes, along with quiet melodies.

Heavily featured are Prophet 08, eurorack modular, MS-20 Mini and field recordings. Also of interest, “Life Sources” was created in part by performing analysis on video of shadows cast by trees in a forest. The analyzed signals were used primarily to modulate Prophet 08 parameters via midi.
