Inspired by west-coast synthesis artists such as Morton Subotnik, Suzanne Ciani, Michael Stearns, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Alessandro Cortini, etc., this album is in some ways one of Apertome’s more sonically adventurous. Its focus is on pure sound, abstract, aleatoric, open to chaotic influences, and less concerned with melody. At times when making this album, the synthesizers seemed to take on a life of their own.

This album also explores some more exotic synthesis techniques, such as granular synthesis, random sources, LPGs, filter pinging, FM, AM, ring modulation, etc. Created using Eurorack modular synthesizers and effects (modular and pedals).
